All Mid Atlantic current card holders may compete at EZ Run PBRA sanctioned shows on their MAPRA card. At shows that are EZ Run PBRA sanctioned first, MAPRA members will abide by the EZ Run Pro's rules and payoff. MAPRA members will not have to pay any extra fees to compete with the EZ Run Pro. MAPRA members are eligible to win money, but your points will only count on your MAPRA card. If you are interested in earning points and competing in the EZ Run Pro's Finals, you may purchase their association card with their office. Your current MAPRA card will be honored for entry at any EZ Run PBRA except their Finals Barrel Race in November. This is how it works, MAPRA members may enter any EZ Run PBRA offered classes they wish, but the points turned into the MAPRA office can only be accumulated in the Open 4D Barrels. MAPRA barrel racers placing in the 1D or 2D only will receive points in the MAPRA. At time of entry, the MAPRA member, if running more than one horse, must specify with the show secretary the horse running for points to count on. You will only accumulate points on one run with the MAPRA. These co-sanctioned show points will be turned into the MAPRA office and will count towards your year end barrel racing points. These shows will NOT count towards your qualifying shows towards the Finals. (You must have competed in 10 full rodeos to qualify for the MAPRA Finals) For more information about this association, click on their name at the top of this paragraph to view their web site.
